Responsibilities

The role of the Recruiter is to collaborate with the leaders in their designated service line to assess and identify talent that will contribute to Norton Healthcare’s mission to serve our patients and the community. The Recruiter will own the full cycle recruitment process from posting through offer, while providing an exceptional applicant experience. The Recruiter builds strong relationships with leaders, applicants, and referral sources while serving as a trusted talent advisor.

Key Accountabilities

Recruitment Strategy

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies that align with hiring needs, workforce trends, and organizational goals.
  • Partner with hiring leaders to create position profiles, provide market insights, and support effective hiring decisions.
  • Educate leaders on the recruitment process, talent availability, and interview best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to support hiring initiatives and workforce planning.

Recruiting and Interviewing

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate presentation, offer extension, and onboarding coordination.
  • Conduct phone, virtual, and in-person behavioral-based interviews and assess candidates against job requirements.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, and engagement strategies.
  • Provide timely communication and updates to candidates and hiring leaders throughout the hiring process.

Applicant Experience

  • Serve as an ambassador for the Norton Healthcare employer brand and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Guide candidates through the recruitment process by providing clear communication, education, and support.
  • Participate in career fairs, community events, educational partnerships, and other outreach activities to attract talent.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition team members to ensure an applicant-centric and system-wide approach to recruiting.

Compliance and Standardization

  • Ensure recruiting practices comply with applicable employment laws, regulations, organizational policies, and recruitment standards.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the applicant tracking system.
  • Support key processes while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives, team projects, and ongoing efforts to enhance recruitment effectiveness.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum one year of experience in recruiting
  • Bachelor Degree

Desired

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting with one year or more of experience in healthcare recruiting
