Your Responsibilities
As a Design Engineer for the Tracks Module Group located in Waterloo, IA or Silvis, IL you will:
- Update models, drawings and assemblies per CI projects
- Coordinate with the Product Verification and Validation teams to develop test plans for CI projects
- Support quality issues related to track warranty
- Gather, analyze and make decisions based upon available information and seek out additional information when necessary to ensure design changes are successfully implemented
- Provide technical mentoring to team members
What Skills You Need
- Design engineering experience with knowledge of drivetrain components such as structural castings, bearings, gears, shafts, seals, or similar type of components
- Proficiency with Creo or other 3D CAD modeling software
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and system modeling
- Demonstrated ability to work on a team with strong interpersonal and facilitation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- 2 or more years of Drivetrain Design experience in Agriculture, Construction or Forestry vehicles
- Knowledge and understanding of Romax and FEA results or similar engineering tools
- Experience with Product Verification and Validation
- Experience with manufacturing or quality control
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering. Others may apply.
