Direct Hire Recruiter

The Reisner Group is growing and looking for a Direct Hire Recruiter to join our Milwaukee team. We specialize in recruiting and headhunting within the retail, restaurant, and hospitality industries, and we're looking for someone who understands how to identify strong operators and connect them with the right opportunities.

We're also entering an exciting stage of growth with the launch of our new recruiting SaaS platform, designed to modernize how candidates are sourced, evaluated, and connected with employers.

This is a hybrid position based in the Milwaukee area (53202) and offers a base salary of $35,000–$50,000 plus commission.

Who We're Looking For

We're especially interested in candidates who have experience in recruiting, hiring, talent acquisition, or headhunting, as well as former restaurant or retail managers who understand operations, leadership, and what makes a strong management candidate.

The ideal person is highly organized, comfortable with outbound sourcing and outreach, persistent with follow-up, and motivated by measurable results. You should be comfortable speaking with candidates every day and working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Source and identify qualified candidates for direct-hire opportunities
• Build and maintain pipelines for current and future openings
• Develop targeted sourcing lists and conduct candidate outreach
• Source candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and other recruiting platforms
• Screen and interview candidates to evaluate experience, leadership capabilities, and fit
• Qualify or reject candidates based on interviews, resumes, and client requirements
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate documentation within the ATS
• Develop and test candidate outreach templates and sourcing strategies
• Partner with the sales team to understand client hiring needs and priorities
• Build and maintain recruiting datasets using Excel and Google Sheets
• Conduct workshops for students, athletes, veterans, and other job seekers
• Assist with recruiting-related social media content and channel management
• Maintain consistent candidate follow-up throughout the recruiting process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Previous experience in recruiting, hiring, talent acquisition, headhunting, or sales preferred
• Restaurant or retail management experience is strongly valued
• Strong sourcing and talent-identification skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Comfortable with outbound outreach and candidate engagement
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Familiarity with LinkedIn and online recruiting platforms
• High-energy, results-oriented mindset
• Demonstrated ability to work toward goals, KPIs, or quotas
