Job Definition

The Network Administration Engineer II and III position manages the District’s on-premise and cloud network infrastructure for such devices as firewalls, routers, switches, and security appliances. This position is accountable for implementation of new networks, maintenance of existing networks including any necessary enhancements, and their decommissioning. This role will assist with the identification, prioritization, and resolution of critical infrastructure and security related issues that impact business operations. This position safeguards the recoverability, performance, compliance, and security of District infrastructure and is key to ensuring that the information systems necessary to fulfill the District's mission are highly available.

Minimum Qualifications

Network Admin Engineer II ($117,508 - $146,885)

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, AND
• Two (2) years of related Information Technology experience;
  
  

OR

• Six (6) years of related Information Technology experience.
  
  

Network Admin Engineer III ($147,402 - $184,253)

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, AND
• Four (4) years of related Information Technology experience;
  
  

OR

• Eight (8) years of related Information Technology experience.
