Expected pay for this position is $36.04 - $42.40/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: The Data Analyst is responsible for producing regular and timely status reports, tracking performance, meeting reporting deadlines and serving as a data subject matter expert across OSF OnCall. Creates detailed reports to address both recurring and ad-hoc needs. Maintains detailed understanding of data criteria. Assists with data validation. Utilizes methods of data visualization techniques to clearly articulate performance, to help summarize key findings and to allow for translation of data into actionable information. Operates as an experienced data analysis professional whose database development experience, analytical ability, creativity, forward thinking and knowledge of operational strategies drive decisions and provide leaders with valuable insights into their operations.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelors in Data Analysis, Computer Science, Business, or other quantitative discipline.

Experience

  • 2 years of experience running queries and analyzing data
  • 2 years of experience using moderate to advanced level statistical tools
  • Experience with data models and reporting packages.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. Functional understanding of SQL Demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets
  • Proven ability to write comprehensive reports Analytical, with an inclination for complex problem-solving
  • Customer service and communication (verbal & written) skills, including patience and flexibility with a variety of user knowledge levels and skill sets

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Master's degree in Data Analysis, Computer Science, Business, or other quantitative discipline

Experience: Experience with Cisco Unified Intelligence Center (CUIC). Experience utilizing PowerBI. Experience with Epic or similar health information system and database.
