Role Description The Recruitment Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Fayetteville, NC. This position is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including posting job openings, sourcing candidates, screening applications, and coordinating interviews for a variety of agency roles to include generating foster parent leads. The Recruitment Specialist will conduct interviews, collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing and new foster parent needs, and support decision-making on candidate selection. Daily tasks include maintaining candidate pipelines, tracking recruitment metrics, supporting new hire onboarding and training coordination, recruitment and retention policy implementation, community outreach and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and agency policies. The role also involves ongoing communication with internal stakeholders, participation in job fairs or recruitment events, and contributing to strategies that enhance employer branding and retention.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Recruiting and Hiring skills, including experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes.
  • Candidates should possess effective Interviewing and Communication skills to assess candidate fit and build positive relationships.
  • Candidates should possess Training-related skills, with the ability to coordinate or support onboarding and staff/foster parent development activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
  • Familiarity with human services, social work, or mental health settings is beneficial, as is experience with applicant tracking systems and CRM systems.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Social Services, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
