Network Engineer

We are working with a leading technology integrator that provides comprehensive life cycle services and solutions in the technical, engineering, intelligence, and enterprise information technology markets. This organization is renowned for its deep customer and domain knowledge, enabling the delivery of complex systems engineering and integration offerings for the U.S. federal government.

The Role

• Provide high-performance, highly available networking services to support business and mission needs.
• Handle engineering and operational assignments related to deployed solutions backed by Cisco and SolarWinds on multi-level IT systems.
• Deliver O&M support for networking devices including switches, routers, firewalls, and encryption devices.
• Support internal escalation tiers for advanced troubleshooting and rapid remediation of networking challenges.
• Maintain documentation for networking systems, subsystems, and components, including capacity and performance plans.
  
  

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree with fourteen (14) years of experience; Master's with twelve (12) years; or PhD with nine (9) years. Relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
• Proficiency with Cisco and SolarWinds is required.
• An active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is essential.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
