Process Engineering position responsible for the non conventional machining (lasers and EDMs) of Ceramic Matrix Composite (CMC) parts. This engineer will lead improvement projects and shop floor support for a product line in an their assigned area.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Support plant safety policies
- Improve all aspects of Safety, Quality, Delivery & Cost
- Lead improvement projects from concept to completion & assure sustainment
- APQP for responsible processes
- Drive & lead/cycle time improvements
- Lead & support low rate and full rate production
- Implement necessary equipment, tooling & fixtures for manufacturing development and process improvements
- Create, maintain & adhere to schedules to achieve business metrics/targets
- Listen to the voice on the floor, understand the problem and implement effective countermeasures
- Manage projects related to product industrialization
- Hands on problem solving & investigation
- Continuous improvement mind set
- Perform root cause and corrective action of product & process failures and defects
- Limited remote working conditions
- Limited travel (equipment run off, supplier visits)
- Bachelor’s Degree accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing operations experience)
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, and execute projects.
- Cp/cpk/SPC experience
- FLIGHT DECK Experience and knowledge of lean principles
- Demonstrated structured problem solving
