Position Summary
As part of our growing Digital Platforms team, you’ll lead the development, activation, and optimization of paid social and paid search campaigns. You’ll apply cross-channel expertise to clients’ business needs, identify opportunities, and develop insight-driven media plans with meaningful measurement. In this role, you will be responsible for the following activities:
- Be a digital media expert internally and externally
- Work alongside the Platforms Director to act as a trusted partner to our clients in contributing to and representing digital activation across channels
- Work with clients to understand their objectives, target audiences, and desired outcomes
- Translate complex platform data into clear, actionable business narratives for client stakeholders
- Inform and utilize comms strategy inputs (competitive, consumer, category, etc.) to define role of digital platforms
- Get smart on tech and industry capabilities to help evaluate and evolve data/tech partner
- Build trusted client relationships through proactive, strategic problem-solving
- Contribute to and develop digital plans across paid social and paid search, aligning with business and comms objectives
- Work alongside the Platforms Director and Planning team to determine platform priorities, creative strategy, and measurement framework
- Lead client-facing presentations of digital strategies, ensuring alignment between platform tactics and the client’s broader brand vision
- Contribute to quarterly testing roadmaps, be responsible for thought leadership, and evaluate alphas/betas/new partners
- Understand how digital strategy connects to other paid and non-paid channels (sponsorships, OOH, CRM, TV, email, organic social etc.) to encourage more insightful and intentional campaign planning and execution
- Manage multiple client workstreams with strong organization, communication, and attention to detail
- Proactively solve challenges and independently move projects forward
- Responsible for activation through various platforms (Google Ads, Meta, SA360, and other social channels) and maximizing media performance through ongoing optimizations, with the ability to work directly within platforms and support campaign setup, troubleshooting, and execution when needed
- Proactively manage client expectations regarding campaign timelines and performance
- Contribute to ongoing quality assurance process to ensure all aspects of a campaign’s creative, settings, budget parameters, brand safety needs etc. are met
- Ensure day-to-day budget management, pacing, partner management, and billing is done properly
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail across campaign setup, tracking, reporting, budget management, and quality assurance processes
- 4-6 years of digital media experience, including at least 3 years in digital media buying and strategy across Paid Search and Paid Social
- Experience managing and coaching junior team members, creating growth opportunities while holding work accountable to quality standards and deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment
- Proven ability to build trusted client and internal relationships through thoughtful communication, responsiveness, strong presentations, and creative, data-backed problem solving
- Expert-level, hands-on knowledge of paid media platforms and partner UIs, including Google, Meta, TikTok, Snap, YouTube, X, Pinterest, and LinkedIn, with experience in campaign building, management, optimization, and troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of asset trafficking and working knowledge of research, site tagging, and analytics tools such as Freshpaint, Adobe Analytics, and Google Analytics
- Expertise in analyzing campaign performance, recommending in-flight optimizations, and translating learnings into clear, actionable recommendations for future campaigns
- Ability to manage multiple clients, competing priorities, and complex programs while maintaining accuracy across campaign execution, reporting, budgets, timelines, and quality assurance
- Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable, with the ability to identify challenges, develop solutions, and independently move work forward as priorities shift
- Intellectual curiosity and a growth mindset, including an interest in using evolving technologies, automation, and AI tools to enhance thinking, efficiency, and performance
