Shift: Mon-Fri, 8 AM - 5 PM EST

This is a Data Analyst role based in Trenton, NJ (Local Only - Hybrid Onsite) with 13 months contract at $35/hr rate, working Mon-Fri 8 AM - 5 PM EST and requires both webcam and in-person interview. We need only qualified candidates currently located in the Trenton, NJ area due to onsite presence. Must have 3+ years of expertise in Snowflake SQL (Scripting & Optimization), Python (Data/Automation), Code Review, Data Analysis & Profiling, and Automated Scripting for Ticket Resolution with excellent communication. Preferred skill is Cloud Data Warehouse (AWS). The analyst will be responsible for technical analysis, automation, and fulfillment of enterprise data requests within the Department's digital infrastructure, working in the Snowflake/AWS environment. Key duties include writing/debugging/optimizing complex SQL and Python scripts, auditing existing codebase, automating recurring ticket resolutions, performing data profiling/validation, and resolving discrepancies to support modernization initiatives.

The Data Analyst is responsible for technical analysis, automation, and fulfillment of enterprise data requests within the Department’s digital infrastructure. The role requires high proficiency in Snowflake SQL and Python to manage complex data workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Write, debug, and optimize complex SQL scripts in Snowflake for ad-hoc data requests and system-wide analysis.
Review and interpret existing Python and SQL codebase to troubleshoot errors and suggest improvements.
Develop and deploy Python-based scripts to automate recurring support tickets, reducing manual intervention.
Perform data profiling and validation within Snowflake and AWS to ensure data integrity across the Project Nexus ecosystem.
Serve as a technical point of contact for complex data inquiries, translating business requirements into technical deliverables.
