The Media Planner is a key member of the media team responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing integrated media campaigns across digital and traditional media channels for a leading B2B technology client. Working closely with the larger team, including analytics, ad operations, finance, and external partners, this role helps translate client objectives into effective media plans that drive measurable business outcomes. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of media fundamentals, is highly analytical, naturally curious, and enjoys solving problems through data. They are highly organized, collaborative, and thrive in a fast-paced agency environment while managing multiple priorities. The individual takes ownership of projects from planning through execution, proactively identifies solutions, demonstrates sounds judgement, and works collaboratively to deliver successful campaigns.

Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. RESPONSIBLITIES
Media Planning & Strategy
- Support development and presentation of integrated media strategies aligned to client business objectives and campaign goals
- Conduct audience, marketplace, competitive, and media research to inform planning recommendations
- Evaluate media opportunities across programmatic, online video, CTV, YouTube, paid social, podcasts, streaming audio, and traditional media channels
- Assist in developing channel strategies, investment allocations, flight recommendations, and media POVs
- Stay current on media trends, consumer behavior, platform capabilities, measurement solutions, and AI-enabled planning tools
- Develop integrated media plans, budget trackers, and support campaign documentation
- Coordinate campaign launches across internal teams and media partners
- Manage campaign setup and execution across media channels, including coordinating insertion orders (IOs), trafficking requirements, tagging, creative assets, and launch timelines
- Build and maintain campaigns within internal planning and billing systems (e.g., Prisma) to support campaign execution, financial tracking, and reporting
- Ensure campaigns launch accurately by QA’ing creative assets, tracking tags, landing pages, naming conventions, and vendor deliverables
- Communicate with clients on outstanding asset deliverables and launch progress
- Coordinate with offshore support to oversee campaign setup in Prisma, trafficking support, billing actualizations, and campaign documentation to ensure accurate and timely execution
- Monitor campaign pacing, delivery, and budgets by reviewing pacing reports and proactively identifying under or over-delivery, recommending solutions to optimize campaign performance
- Manage campaign budgets, reconciliations, invoice tracking, and financial documentation throughout the campaign lifecycle
- Work closely with finance, media vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate billing, campaign actualization, and financial reconciliation
- Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for media vendors throughout campaign execution
- Deliver IOs, creative assets, tracking requirements, launch timelines, and campaign updates
- Work closely with partners to identify optimization and added value opportunities
- Partner with offshore support to coordinate recurring weekly campaign pacing reports, and QA to ensure reporting accuracy across all partners
- Collaborate with analytics and measurement teams on tagging, attribution, and campaign measurement implementation
- Analyze campaign performance and translate data into actionable insights and optimization recommendations
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on media planning and campaign management experience across integrated media channels
- Strong understanding of paid media fundamentals across digital and traditional channels, including planning, execution, optimization, and measurement
- Experience with media research and planning tools such as Nielsen, MRI-Simmons, Telmar, MediaRadar, or similar platform
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects, manage deadlines, and communicate priorities effectively to supervisors and cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated experience managing campaign budgets, pacing, billing, reconciliations, and financial stewardship
- Experience coordinating campaign execution, including media authorizations (MAs), insertion orders (IOs), tagging, trafficking, QA, creative asset management, and vendor communication
- Highly detail oriented with a proven ability to maintain accuracy across campaign setup, documentation, financial tracking, and reporting
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign performance and develop data-driven recommendations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and experience with Google Workspace is a plus
- Experience working with media planning, billing, and campaign management systems (e.g., Prisma) is preferred
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, media partners, and internal stakeholders
- Previous client communication and presentation experience
- Experience working on integrated campaigns across multiple media channels is preferred
