Position Overview
A 100% employee owned firm is seeking a Ecosystem Restoration Project Manager to manage complex infrastructure, environmental, and natural resource projects from planning through delivery. This role combines project leadership, client engagement, technical oversight, and team development responsibilities.
The successful candidate will oversee multidisciplinary projects, manage project performance, support business growth initiatives, and provide strategic guidance to technical teams. This position is ideal for a professional who enjoys balancing project management, client relations, and technical leadership.
- Lead projects through all phases of execution, ensuring successful delivery of scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
- Manage project plans, staffing, financial performance, invoicing, and subcontractor coordination.
- Provide oversight of technical studies, design efforts, permitting activities, and construction support services.
- Coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for future work.
- Support proposal development, presentations, and business development initiatives.
- Mentor engineers, scientists, and technical staff while fostering professional growth.
- Participate in quality assurance and quality control reviews.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Natural Resources, or a related technical discipline.
- Significant experience leading environmental, infrastructure, water resources, land development, or related consulting projects.
- Professional licensure or equivalent industry-recognized credential.
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
- Ability to travel as needed to support projects and client engagement.
- Formal project management training or certification.
- Experience working with public-sector clients and regulatory agencies.
- Business development and client relationship management experience.
- Familiarity with environmental compliance, permitting, site assessment, restoration, or water resource projects.
- Experience managing large or geographically dispersed project teams.
- Proficiency with industry-standard engineering, design, GIS, or modeling software.
- Drive successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Lead diverse teams across multiple technical disciplines.
- Build long-term client partnerships and support strategic growth initiatives.
- Guide technical staff and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
