Junior Cybersecurity Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for application design.

• Perform a wide range of computer security duties, including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access.

• Participate in certification and accreditation processes, and perform technical vulnerability assessments.

• Engage in incident reporting and response support, and conduct ongoing monitoring of security requirements and compliance.

• Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and provide training on existing and new technologies.

• Provide technical support in the daily operations and evaluation of existing security tools and products.

What You'll Need

• Current ITAM Level 2 Certification.

• Strong understanding of RMF workflow tools such as eMASS or Xacta.

• Experience with network management tools, network engineering principles, and network analysis.

• Expert understanding of the A&A process and current computer security requirements and compliance.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
