Cloud Security Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Define and implement cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures, and guardrails for multi-cloud and on-premises environments.

• Lead working groups to drive the definition of cybersecurity guidelines across the product and enterprise architecture organization.

• Develop secure design patterns for adoption by engineering teams, ensuring alignment with established standards.

• Analyze potential security risks to information systems and propose innovative solutions to mitigate them.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and scalable release processes with security integrated.

• Engage with business and engineering teams to define guardrails that facilitate seamless adoption of secure design patterns.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years focused on cybersecurity.

• Practical expertise in securing cloud infrastructure and services, alongside on-premises infrastructure knowledge.

• Strong understanding of current cybersecurity and technology architectures, including zero trust, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, virtualization, and containerization.

• Experience with Agile methodologies and deploying solutions within large organizations.

• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., ISO 27000, NIST) and relevant industry regulations.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and executive stakeholder management skills.
