Global Environmental Construction Program Lead, AWS Environmental
Description
For over 15 years, Amazon Web Services (AWS) has been the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud computing platform. What is cloud computing? Cloud computing is the on-demand delivery of IT resources over the Internet.
In 2019, Amazon announced The Climate Pledge, which includes our commitment to power our operations with 100% renewable energy by 2025, on the path to achieving net zero carbon across our businesses by 2040. The AWS Environmental team is an expanding and dynamic team critical to enabling AWS's growth around the world. The team has responsibility for architecting and implementing AWS's global environmental programs — defining risk management systems, setting global policies and procedures, developing standards, tools, and metrics, and engaging with all AWS business units to provide scalable environmental strategies that support current and future business objectives.
The Global Construction Environmental Program Manager will own and scale the Construction Environmental Program (CEP) across all AWS data center projects worldwide. Built on ISO 14001 principles, the CEP transforms how environmental management works across global construction by establishing environmental performance standards during construction and enabling AWS to deliver consistent outcomes. This individual will set strategic direction, drive program development, and lead cross-regional execution from design phase through to handover, working extensively with senior stakeholders and business partners to ensure construction projects are managed effectively across the global portfolio.
Key job responsibilities

We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.
You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles.
