Manufacturing Technician (1st shift)
Job Description
Honeywell Aerospace is a worldwide leader in the development of flight controls, displays, guidance and navigation systems and inertial instruments. The Glendale, AZ ES facility has a 40-year heritage of designing, developing, and manufacturing extremely high reliability products for manned and unmanned space applications. ES is currently seeking a manufacturing technician to work in the bearing lab at Glendale with experience in microscopy, inspection, and chemical handling.
The successful candidate will use her/his lab experience to support bearing inspections, bearing cage processing and failure investigations for the high reliability space business. She/he will support flight programs, anomaly investigations and bearing supplier issues. She/he will have excellent analytical and communication skills. The successful candidate will be a team player that is able to work in a highly dynamic environment.
This job is in Glendale, AZ and is 100% onsite.

Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Bearing cage processing
- Bearing inspections
- Bearing assembly and test
- Chemical handling
- Failure investigation
- Lab equipment maintenance
YOU MUST HAVE
- Associates Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Machining experience preferred
- Chemical handling experience preferred
- Experience in inspection techniques and tools (Microscopy, SEM, FTIR, CMM, Tallyrond, Profilometry)
- Experience in chemicals and chemical handling
- Flexible and open, ability to adapt to changing systems, processes, and projects
