Job Description

As a Machine Learning Engineer at Qualcomm, you will develop and implement advanced machine learning techniques to enhance the efficiency of solutions across various technology sectors. You will work within the AISW Tools team, focusing on the software design and development of quantization tooling. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize AI model inference on Qualcomm's AI accelerator IP. You will also engage in debugging complex issues and participate in the adoption of innovative AI workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Solid understanding of Machine Learning and Deep Learning theory.
• Proficiency in data structures, computer system architecture, and multi-threaded programming.
• Familiarity with Linux environments.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication skills in verbal, presentation, and written forms.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the AI Software team to optimize inference of AI models.
• Validate and optimize the performance and accuracy of quantized models through detailed analysis and testing.
• Debug complex issues and perform root cause analysis to ensure high system reliability.
• Participate in the adoption of agentic AI workflows to automate quantization experimentation and model evaluation pipelines.
• Engage in design and code reviews.
