Join the Equitable Building Decarbonization Branch of the Reliability, Renewable Energy & Decarbonization Incentives (RREDI) Division and help lead California's building decarbonization transformation!
As a Building Decarbonization Specialist, you'll play a key role in advancing innovative programs, policies, and strategies that accelerate the transition to cleaner, healthier, and more energy-efficient buildings throughout California. Working independently on complex technical and policy initiatives, you'll collaborate with state, federal, local, and Tribal partners to shape programs that reduce greenhouse gas emissions while promoting equitable clean energy solutions for communities across the state.
We're seeking a collaborative and analytical professional with excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate has experience analyzing technical and policy issues, coordinating multidisciplinary projects, and translating complex information into clear recommendations. Success in this role requires the ability to manage competing priorities, build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, and effectively communicate with Tribal governments, public agencies, consultants, and community partners.
