Job Title: Network Engineer
Location: New York City, NY (100% Onsite)
Salary: $105,000 - $125,000

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise network infrastructure while ensuring high availability, security, and performance across the organization.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, Palo Alto firewalls, routing, switching, and network security. You will collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot network issues, support infrastructure upgrades, and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and scalability.

Key Responsibilities
* Implement, configure, and support enterprise network infrastructure.
* Install, configure, and maintain Cisco routers, switches, and wireless networks.
* Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls.
* Monitor network performance and proactively resolve connectivity issues.
* Support routing and switching technologies, including OSPF, BGP, VLANs, and VPNs.
* Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and firewall-related issues.
* Develop and maintain network documentation, standards, and procedures.
* Evaluate new networking technologies and recommend improvements.
* Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams on infrastructure projects.
* Ensure network security, availability, and business continuity.

Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
* 4+ years of experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
* Strong experience with Cisco routers, switches, and wireless technologies.
* Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
* Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).
* Experience with LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN, ACLs, and NAT.
* Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment..
