Network Engineer

Role: A motivated Network Engineer responsible for designing, supporting, and maintaining advanced network infrastructures on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Tier II and III network engineering support for WAN, LAN, and data centers.
• Monitor and configure networks using SolarWinds, Cisco DNAC, and Cisco ISE.
• Develop and interpret detailed network diagrams, routing schemas, and hardware configurations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to drive infrastructure initiatives.
• Participate in the ITIL Service Lifecycle, including change management and security monitoring.
• Assess current network architectures and recommend improvements to optimize performance.
• Deliver comprehensive analysis, requirements, and engineering packages for production environments.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED with 7+ years of relevant experience in network engineering or analysis.
• Certifications such as CCNA or equivalent routing/switching credentials.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+), with DoD IAT III certification required within 6 months.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree, experience with SolarWinds, Microsoft Windows, HP SANs, VMware, VPNs, routing protocols, Cisco ACI, Ansible, fiber termination, and TEMPEST standards.
• Must hold an active TS/SCI clearance.
