About The Opportunity

I'm working with an AI-native cybersecurity startup that's reimagining identity and access management for the next generation of software. As AI agents, service accounts, and machine identities become increasingly common, traditional IAM solutions are struggling to keep pace. This team is building the infrastructure to solve that challenge, and industry leaders like Databricks and Figma are already trusting their platform.

They're looking for a Senior Software Engineer who thrives in early-stage startups and enjoys owning products from idea to production. This is an opportunity to work directly with customers, solve complex technical problems, and build scalable systems that have an immediate impact. You'll collaborate closely with founders and engineers in a highly technical, product-driven environment where thoughtful engineering and customer obsession are at the core of everything they do. This is a full-time hybrid position in San Francisco, CA.

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES

• Own features from concept to production across the full technology stack.
• Design and build scalable, high-quality software with a strong focus on product experience.
• Partner directly with customers to understand their challenges and translate feedback into impactful solutions.
• Make architectural decisions that support long-term scalability and reliability.
• Build reusable systems and engineering patterns that improve team velocity.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teammates to shape product direction and technical strategy.
• Contribute to a collaborative engineering culture through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and thoughtful technical discussions.
  
  

Job Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering with strong product ownership.
• Proven experience at high-growth startups or early-stage (0→1) companies.
• 3–4 years of tenure in at least one engineering role, demonstrating long-term ownership and impact.
• Experience building customer-facing products from concept through production.
• Experience joining an early-stage startup after working at a larger technology company (FAANG experience is a plus).
• Background working in cybersecurity, identity and access management (IAM), or security-focused engineering teams (preferred).
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
