Sustainability Specialist
Salary: $70,304/year
CR&R is seeking a Sustainability Specialist to support municipal compliance, recycling programs, and community outreach efforts. This role blends data analysis, public education, and relationship management to help cities and customers meet sustainability goals.

What You’ll Do
Support municipal contract compliance and reporting.
Promote recycling and diversion programs.
Conduct waste audits and prepare diversion reports.
Coordinate facility tours and attend community meetings.
Develop outreach and education materials.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related field
Experience working with municipal programs, sustainability, recycling, or environmental services
Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable engaging with city staff, customers, and community stakeholders
Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and clearly explain findings to non-technical audiences
Comfortable conducting site visits, waste audits, and facility tours
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for meetings and site visits
