As an Application Security Analyst, you'll work with realistic security scenarios to help AI models learn how to assess, prioritize, and remediate application risk. Your hands-on experience with production vulnerabilities will directly shape how frontier AI understands software security.

As an Application Security Analyst, you'll work with realistic security scenarios to help AI models learn how to assess, prioritize, and remediate application risk. Your hands-on experience with production vulnerabilities will directly shape how frontier AI understands software security.

- Location: Remote
- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
- Analyze real-world application security scenarios spanning code, APIs, and system behavior
- Classify and evaluate vulnerabilities including authentication flaws, injection risks, access control issues, and business logic weaknesses
- Assess the quality of secure coding practices and proposed remediation strategies
- Build and validate security-focused reasoning datasets that teach AI to think like an experienced security engineer
- Distinguish genuinely exploitable risks from theoretical edge cases with clear, structured justifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in application, product, or software security
- Solid familiarity with the OWASP Top 10 and common production-level vulnerabilities
- Able to think critically about real exploitability — not just textbook definitions
- Strong written communication skills with a structured, analytical approach to security reasoning
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on asynchronous tasks
- Experience with code review, penetration testing, or bug bounty programs
- Background in secure SDLC practices or threat modeling
- Familiarity with AI evaluation or data annotation workflows
