Senior Technical Program Manager, Next-Generation Sustainable Construction Deployment
Minimum qualifications:
A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
As a Technical Program Manager for Next-Generation Sustainable Construction, you will orchestrate strategic outcomes that fundamentally transform how Google designs, builds, and scales its global data center fleet to support its Sustainability goals. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, general contractors, and Google internal stakeholders to provide expert guidance and implement strategies that will significantly reduce or eliminate carbon emissions and support other sustainability goals. Operating at the intersection of construction and supply chain sustainability, you will own the technical execution required to meet our ambitious 2030 Net Zero carbon goals.
In this role, you will be capable of transitioning programs from localized initiatives into scaled, fleet-wide deployments. You will lead the operational expansion of low-carbon strategies across Google's data center business models. Concurrently, you will lead our established sustainability deployment program piloting next-generation material reduction solutions, including low-carbon concrete and steel. Additionally, this role includes expanding the sustainable deployment of high-emitting materials, equipment, and other infrastructure, like Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
