Digital Advertising Manager
About Us: Red Edge is the leading Beltway-based, digital-first, public affairs agency for the liberty and free enterprise movement. We partner with leading organizations and nonprofits to create high-impact campaigns. We don’t care about titles or your grades in school; we care about talent, passion, and delivering results.
The Role: We are looking for a mid-career (5+ years), dashboard-savvy digital advertising professional who loves the technical side of the job. If you enjoy the granular details of planning, executing, and reporting on complex digital ad campaigns, you will fit right in. You'll be owning accounts, interacting with clients, and looking for patterns in data to achieve client goals.
Core Responsibilities:
- Strategize, implement, and analyze digital advertising campaigns across programmatic, social media, search, content-discovery, and other emerging platforms.
- Own accounts and drive budgetary optimization across the full digital advertising ecosystem.
- Track spending and campaign trends to determine what is working best, focusing heavily on attributable ROI and ROAS.
- Collaborate directly with our creative and communications teams to conceive and execute strategic advertising concepts.
What You Bring:
- Experience: Mid-career expertise in digital advertising and ad operations.
- Technical Chops: In-depth, advanced knowledge of Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Business Manager, and the broader digital media landscape.
- Analytical Mindset: A strong familiarity with data analysis and a knack for problem-solving to hit client goals.
- The Right Attitude: You care about results, communicate clearly, and know what you don’t know—possessing the drive to improve and the humility to learn from mistakes.
Our Culture: We strive to take our clients and their missions more seriously than we take ourselves. At Red Edge, you can expect a highly collaborative atmosphere , with the majority of our team in-office. We appreciate people who enjoy messing with the status quo and relish the chance to try new things. Also, be prepared for:
- Spicy Slack takes and a safe space for bad food opinions (unless you like mayo).
- Building on each other's successes and continuously innovating.
- A focus on getting stuff done and having fun, rather than waiting for the clock to strike 6:00.
Perks & Benefits:
- Location: We work in our Arlington, Virginia office near the Ballston Metro (making for an easy commute from almost anywhere).
- Flexibility: Our office’s hours are 9:00-6:00, but individual work schedules are flexible. Our team is mostly full-time in-office, which is our expectation for new team members, but again, we are flexible week-to-week. Dress is casual unless we have client meetings.
- Time Off: We have a generous vacation policy that balances flexibility and continuity.
- Benefits: We subsidize health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, along with transit or parking benefits. We also sponsor and contribute to a 401(k) for eligible employees.
