Conduit – The Onchain Compute Company
At Conduit, we’re developing the rollup-native cloud platform designed to scale Ethereum. Crypto builders have been hindered by a lack of onchain compute — without the capacity to process a high volume of transactions swiftly and economically, onchain apps and ecosystems can't create top-notch user experiences.
Rollups have emerged as the solution to this issue. Just as servers collaborate to scale compute in Web2, rollups can scale onchain compute in Web3. However, constructing and managing your own rollup is challenging and time-consuming. That’s where Conduit steps in.
As the rollup-native cloud platform, Conduit integrates Web2 engineering best practices with Web3 rollup technology, simplifying the process for anyone to launch and maintain their own chain. By streamlining infrastructure and making onchain compute plentiful, similarly to how AWS and GCP did for Web2, we can unleash the next wave of innovation in the crypto ecosystem.
The Conduit platform has experienced tremendous growth since its launch in 2023. We operate the largest chains in production, including Proof of Play, Zora, Aevo, and others. This equates to 200+ chains spanning mainnet and testnet, and over $1B in total-value-locked (TVL). We are at the forefront of crypto technology, evolving alongside our customers and integration partners, and pushing the boundaries of blockchain scalability and modularity.

About The Role
In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the CEO to develop, maintain, and enhance the rollup stack offerings and customizations enabled by our leading Rollup-as-a-Service platform. You will create custom precompiles and whitelisted contract deployers to introduce entirely new or more efficient functionality, as well as assist in expanding our support for emerging L2s. We value individuals who can quickly gain a profound technical understanding, are able to swiftly create proof-of-concepts to validate new approaches, and enjoy working independently to identify and solve the most crucial problems.
As a Software Engineer, Rollup Product, You Should
Our infrastructure is built on Kubernetes, Postgres, and Cloud Tasks on GCP. The products on top use a mix of React, Javascript/Typescript, Go, Rust, and Postgres. While we value experience with these technologies, we primarily seek engineers with strong technical skills and the aptitude to swiftly learn new tools and frameworks.

About The Role

As a Software Engineer, Rollup Product, You Should
- Possess a strong background in distributed systems, cryptography, and network protocols.
- Have experience working on various rollups, understand the underlying components, and can discuss the trade-offs of those components and platforms.
- Have some experience with EVM node software.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the EVM and how external tools integrate with it.
- Be familiar with multiple programming languages, including but not limited to Golang, Rust, and Solidity.
- Contribute to defining Conduit’s product strategy and roadmap with the team.
- Love rollups and their potential to exponentially scale Ethereum, and are keen on building best-in-class tools and infrastructure around it.
- Are excited to architect, build, and deploy systems, services, and integrations that help our rollups connect with other ecosystem partners.
- Have experience with optimistic and ZK rollups and deploying applications to various chains.
- Can debug issues across the stack, including networking problems, performance issues, or memory leaks.
- Take ownership of problems end-to-end, and are willing to acquire any necessary knowledge to complete tasks.
