The Chief Growth & Community Engagement Officer (CGCEO) is a key member of the Executive Leadership Team responsible for driving OIC of South Florida's long-term growth, sustainability, and community impact. Reporting directly to the President/CEO, this executive leads the organization's comprehensive growth strategy by integrating fundraising, marketing, communications, grant development, community engagement, strategic partnerships, and earned revenue initiatives.
The CGCEO develops and executes innovative strategies that increase philanthropic support, diversify revenue streams, strengthen community partnerships, and elevate OIC's visibility across South Florida. This leader works collaboratively with the President/CEO, Board of Directors, executive leadership, corporate partners, government agencies, foundations, and community stakeholders to secure sustainable resources that advance the organization's mission.

Essential Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Serve as a member of the Executive Leadership Team and contribute to organizational strategy and longterm planning.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy that aligns fundraising, marketing, communications, and community engagement efforts.
- Establish departmental goals, key performance indicators (KPIs), and performance metrics to measure success.
- Present fundraising, marketing, and growth performance reports to the President/CEO and Board of Directors.
- Lead all fundraising initiatives, including major gifts, corporate sponsorships, foundation support, government grants, annual campaigns, and donor engagement.
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with major donors, corporate partners, foundations, and philanthropic organizations.
- Partner with the President/CEO and Board of Directors to achieve and exceed annual fundraising goals.
- Develop and oversee the organization's marketing, branding, and communications strategy.
- Ensure consistent messaging across digital marketing, social media, public relations, website, email campaigns, publications, and annual reports.
- Increase organizational visibility and strengthen OIC's reputation throughout South Florida.
- Oversee grant development, proposal writing, reporting, and compliance to maximize funding opportunities.
- Develop strategies to diversify revenue through earned income initiatives, corporate partnerships, workforce consulting, and missionaligned social enterprise opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and private funding requirements.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with businesses, government agencies, educational institutions, civic organizations, and community leaders.
- Represent OIC at community events, public forums, and stakeholder meetings.
Leadership & Team Development
- Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to teams responsible for fundraising, grant development, marketing, communications, and community engagement.
- Foster a collaborative, innovative, and resultsoriented culture focused on achieving organizational goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive leadership experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, marketing, communications, or business development.
- Demonstrated success securing major gifts, grants, corporate sponsorships, and diversified funding sources.
- Experience leading integrated marketing, communications, and community engagement strategies.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships with donors, foundations, corporations, and publicsector organizations.
- Experience leading and developing highperforming teams.
- Exceptional communication, relationshipbuilding, presentation, and strategic planning skills.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities with a resultsdriven mindset.
