Thermoset Composites Senior Account Manager
Company Overview
Our client is a leading global manufacturer of advanced composite materials serving high-performance markets including aerospace, defense, industrial, transportation, and other engineered applications. They are seeking a commercially driven sales professional to lead strategic account growth within their thermoset composite materials business.
The Senior Sales Account Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key customer relationships, and expanding market penetration for thermoset composite material solutions. This individual will partner closely with customers, technical teams, and global stakeholders to identify new opportunities, support product initiatives, and deliver long-term business growth.
Qualifications
- MUST have PRE PREG Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of sales, account management, or business development experience within the composites industry.
- Direct experience with thermoset composite materials, prepregs, or related advanced materials products strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of growing strategic accounts and developing new business opportunities.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles and commercial negotiations.
- Strong project management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems such as Salesforce, SAP, Sage, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of aerospace quality standards and regulated manufacturing environments is a plus.
- MBA or advanced business education preferred but not required
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities.
- Lead commercial discussions, pricing negotiations, and long-term customer agreements.
- Maintain sales forecasts, pipeline activity, and opportunity tracking through CRM platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technical, operational, and global commercial stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Support new product introductions and strategic initiatives within the composites market.
- Deliver consistent sales performance against established revenue and profitability goals.
