Position Overview

CONTRACTOR CONVERSION

International Motors is seeking a Senior Sustainability Specialist to support enterprise sustainability data management, regulatory reporting, and ESG performance tracking.

This role is a key contributor responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery of sustainability data across a multi-site environment, supporting critical reporting requirements and enterprise sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain sustainability data systems (e.g., Quentic and future platform transitions), ensuring accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness
  • Serve as primary point of contact for sustainability data users across sites; provide system support, troubleshooting, and training
  • Execute data collection, validation, and reporting for key disclosures, including CSRD, VW98000, CoRT, and annual sustainability reporting
  • Track and analyze ESG key performance indicators (KPIs), including emissions and decarbonization metrics
  • Support preparation of reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Environmental, Legal, Finance, Operations, and TRATON stakeholders
  • Monitor and follow up on data submissions to ensure timely and complete reporting
  • Support environmental compliance programs (e.g., ECMS, ISO 14001) and sustainability initiatives
  • Assist with enterprise sustainability programs and employee engagement initiatives (e.g., Earth Day, campus programs)

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of Sustainability or ESG (Environmental, Social, & Governance) experience

OR

  • Master's degree and no experience

OR

  • At least 3 years of Sustainability or ESG (Environmental, Social, & Governance) experience

Additional Requirements

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. We do not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)

Desired Skills

  • Experience with ESG reporting frameworks (e.g., CSRD, GRI)
  • Familiarity with sustainability data platforms (e.g., Quentic, SAP Sustainability)
  • Experience supporting multi-site or global data collection
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills
  • Continuous improvement mindset and problem-solving ability
