Software Engineer

A leading healthcare services organisation is looking for a Software Engineer. The successful candidate will join a cross-functional team dedicated to developing impactful web-based healthcare applications that improve patient care accessibility.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing and maintaining scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails, Node.js, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Developing both front-end and back-end solutions, including APIs and background processing services.
• Writing clean, maintainable code and performing unit, integration, and functional testing to ensure high quality.
• Optimising database performance and troubleshooting production issues across the full technology stack.
• Collaborating with product managers and designers within an Agile environment to deliver secure, compliant software features.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field with significant professional experience in software development.
• Extensive expertise in full-stack development with Ruby on Rails and relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies including React, TypeScript, Node.js, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience managing large-scale background processing systems and building RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Docker, Terraform, and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
