About the Role:
As a Recruiter, you will manage end-to-end recruitment for permanent positions, from sourcing and screening through to offer acceptance. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs, advise on hiring strategies, and ensure a smooth, positive candidate experience. Your ability to proactively identify talent and build strong internal relationships will be central to improving time-to-hire and quality-of-hire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for direct hire roles, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviewing coordination, and offer management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand role requirements and provide recruitment guidance.
- Proactively source candidates through multiple channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct structured candidate screenings and assessments to evaluate skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate and requisition data within the applicant tracking system or recruitment tools.
- Coordinate interview processes, gather feedback, and keep candidates informed throughout the hiring journey.
- Collaborate with managers to refine job descriptions and selection criteria based on market feedback and hiring outcomes.
- Monitor and report on recruitment activity, pipeline status, and key metrics to stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in recruiting, with exposure to direct hire or permanent placements.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated proactive approach to sourcing and engaging candidates, not relying solely on inbound applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confident phone and video presence.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using recruitment systems, job boards, and professional networking platforms.
- Results-focused mindset with a commitment to meeting deadlines and hiring targets.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience recruiting across multiple functions or disciplines.
- Background in agency or corporate recruitment environments.
- Familiarity with modern recruitment tools, CRM systems, and social recruiting techniques.
- Exposure to data-driven recruitment, including tracking and interpreting pipeline metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Professional recruitment or HR certification (e.g., CIR, AIRS, SHRM-CP) is an advantage but not required.
