What We Need

Overall 10+ years in IT.
6+ years of Information Security Engineering experience.
4+ years of hands-on experience administering enterprise Email Security platforms such as Proofpoint, FireEye/Mandiant, Mimecast, Microsoft Defender for Office 365, or similar.
4+ years of experience supporting Endpoint Security tools such as CrowdStrike Falcon, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, SentinelOne, or Carbon Black.

Key Responsibilities

Email Security (Primary Focus):

Administer, configure, and support enterprise email security platforms such as Proofpoint, FireEye/Mandiant, Mimecast, or Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
Investigate and respond to phishing, malware, spam, and Business Email Compromise (BEC) incidents.
Analyze suspicious emails, attachments, URLs, and email headers to identify threats.
Develop and maintain email security policies, rules, and threat protection configurations.
Perform email threat analysis and remediation activities.
Collaborate with Security Operations and Incident Response teams during security investigations.
Monitor email security alerts and proactively identify emerging threats.
Tune email security controls to reduce false positives while maintaining effective protection.

Endpoint Security

Support enterprise endpoint security solutions such as CrowdStrike Falcon, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, or similar EDR platforms.
Investigate endpoint security alerts and malware detections.
Perform endpoint threat analysis and assist in containment and remediation efforts.
Maintain endpoint security policies and security configurations.
Support vulnerability remediation and endpoint hardening initiatives.

Security Engineering & Automation

Develop scripts using PowerShell or Python to automate operational and security tasks.
Assist in integrating security tools with SIEM or SOAR platforms where applicable.
Participate in security assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.
Document operational procedures, incident findings, and engineering changes.
