About the Role:

Beyond Studios is seeking a Social Media Coordinator to provide strategic support and hands-on assistance across social channels. This role is ideal for a creative strategist with strong social media intuition, photo and video editing skills, and experience in content ideation and creation. The primary focus will be developing new content ideas based on strategic social listening, assisting with photo editing and video capture, and executing high-quality content production for social channels. The role will also include limited content creation and social media management responsibilities for select agency clients.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct strategic social listening across platforms to identify emerging trends, audience interests, and content opportunities for social channels.
  • Develop new content ideas and refine Cole's content strategy based on historial performance data, social insights, and audience engagement patterns.
  • Assist with photo editing, post-production, and video capture to support high-quality content production for social channels.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms to ensure innovative and effective strategies.
  • Develop and implement tailored social media strategies for select agency clients, ensuring alignment with their brand identity and business goals.
  • Manage content calendars, create engaging posts, and oversee scheduling for client accounts.
  • Act as the voice of client brands by engaging with their online communities, responding to comments/messages, and fostering meaningful interactions.
  • Collaborate with clients to present insights, campaign reports, and recommendations for growth.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience managing social media for multiple brands, agencies, or clients.
  • Genuine interest in social media culture, creators, and emerging trends
  • Proficiency in photo and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, etc.) and hands-on content creation experience
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills with a keen understanding of brand tone and voice.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Later, Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms.
  • Experience working collaboratively with design and marketing teams.
  • Strong understanding of platform-specific best practices, engagement strategies, and audience growth tactics.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in photography, videography, or motion design.
  • Experience working directly with creators on content strategy and creation.
  • Experience working with creative, luxury, or lifestyle brands.
