Engineering Project Engineer

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead and coordinate engineering projects while serving as the primary point of contact for clients. This is a client-facing role that requires strong project management, communication, and organizational skills to ensure successful project execution from planning through delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and oversee engineering projects from initiation through completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans using Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tools.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates and addressing concerns.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and other cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Monitor project performance, ensuring deliverables meet quality, schedule, and budget requirements.
• Prepare and present project status reports to internal leadership and clients.
• Foster effective communication among stakeholders to support successful project outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science/Engineering
• Minimum of 2-years of project management experience in an engineering environment, preferably electrical.
• Experience using Microsoft Project or other project scheduling and planning software.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of design procedures, quality standards, and DO-160 testing.
• Strong client-facing experience with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the aerospace or defense industry.
• Familiarity with engineering development lifecycles, technical documentation, and project reporting.
