Mechanical Engineer

- Qualification- Mechanical Engineering degree (bachelor’s with 7+ year experience or master’s with 5+ year experience)
- Competency with structural design and analysis
- Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
- Hands-on engineering and prototype testing for reliability and product life cycle is a plus


- Job Role- Lead product development and structural design activities relevant to design of a commercial refrigerator
- Communicating and collaborating effectively within or outside organization with vendors and suppliers
- Optimization of design using Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Assembly (DFA) principles
- Engineering design using hand calculations and analysis of 1D/2D engineering models
- Troubleshooting using DFMEA and root cause analysis
- Design of jigs, fixtures and statistical tolerance stack up studies
- Design of Sheetmetal, Plastic Extrusions, Aluminum extrusions, and Injection molded plastic components
- Generating and presenting reports for design approval
- Drafting and publishing internal engineering standards and procedures

- CAD
- Proficient in English, Spanish is a plus
