Talent Manager US
Tracksuit helps brands prove that brand building is worth it. We give marketing teams the data they need to make smarter decisions, earn internal credibility, and grow more sustainable businesses.
We're scaling fast across New Zealand, Australia, the US, and the UK, backed by world class investors. We can track those brands across markets to help our brand believers prove the power of brand wherever they are. Our team of Trackstars are collaborative, ambitious, and building something that genuinely matters. We live by "high care, high performance" we strive to be the best and look after each other while we do it.
This role
We're hiring our first Talent Manager for the Northern Hemisphere, you'll be the first person in this role for the region.
Based in our New York office and reporting to our Global Talent Lead, you'll own three things: finding and hiring incredible people across the US and UK, onboarding them so they hit the ground running, and helping roll out People initiatives locally.
This is the kind of role where no two days look the same. One moment you're headhunting a senior marketer, the next you're running a welcome tour for a new starter or contributing to a global People initiative for the US market. You'll be Tracksuit's People presence in the Northern Hemisphere, the person who makes sure every new hire feels set up for success from day one.
If you're a people obsessed, commercially minded recruiter who loves building culture and isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves, this one's for you.
What You'll Actually Do
Find and hire amazing humans
Why you'll love it here
We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans. If you would like more information about how your data is processed, please contact us.
We run comprehensive full cycle compensation reviews annually, as well as rolling promotions when you've levelled up. Your salary is supplemented with our best-in-class benefits package, as well as generous ESOP.

What You'll Actually Do
Find and hire amazing humans
- Own full cycle recruitment for US and UK roles, from job posting and sourcing through to interviewing, negotiating offers, and drawing up contracts
- Partner with hiring managers to understand their needs, create compelling job descriptions, and coach them on consistent, high quality hiring processes
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of future talent through proactive sourcing across LinkedIn, job boards, professional networks, and community channels
- Ensure a seamless, positive candidate experience at every touchpoint
- Champion diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging at the top of the funnel
- Run smooth, welcoming onboarding experiences that bring Tracksuit's values to life from day one
- Make sure every new Trackstar in the Northern Hemisphere feels set up for success, connected to the team, and excited about what's ahead
- Manage the local officer experience, creating a space thats welcoming, inclusive, and full of good energy
- Keep the office stocked, tidy and running efficiently by coordinating with vendors and suppliers
- Be the bridge between our global People team and the Northern Hemisphere, adapting and rolling out People programmes so they land well in the US and UK context
- Support compliance with local US and UK laws and policies
- Continue to build our employer brand that's engaging and appealing through events, social media, partnerships, and other initiatives
- Maximise the potential of our ATS and recruitment tools, tracking and analysing data to inform decisions
- Constantly look for ways to improve how we do things. If a process is clunky, fix it. If an experience could be better, make it better. That's the Tracksuit way
- You're a people person to your core: You build relationships naturally with candidates, hiring managers, vendors, and the team. You're warm, approachable, and genuinely care about people's experience
- You're entrepreneurial and ready to roll up your sleeves: This is the first role of its kind in the Northern Hemisphere. Some things you'll be building from scratch, figuring things out as you go, and loving every minute of it
- You communicate with empathy: You know that most candidates won't get the role, and you treat every single one of them with respect and care. You maintain Tracksuit's reputation as an incredible place to work
- You're organised and detail-obsessed: You juggle multiple roles, events, relationships, and processes without dropping balls. You bring structure without bureaucracy
- You're a culture carrier: You understand that culture isn't posters on the wall, it's how people feel when they start a new job, go through their first week, and experience People programmes. You shape that feeling intentionally
- You’re happy to get stuck in, whatever the task: One minute you're interviewing a senior hire, the next you're refining an onboarding checklist or localising a global initiative. That range is what makes this role fun
- 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment. You will have experience running a busy GTM portfolio including Customer, Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships roles
- Proactive sourcer: You don't wait for applications to land. You're out building pipelines, nurturing talent pools, and thinking commercially about where the best people are before the hiring manager has a need
- Proven ability to manage full cycle recruitment with a track record of successful hires across multiple markets
- Experience with onboarding design or people operations: or a genuine enthusiasm for it
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills: you build relationships at every level of the organisation
- Proficiency with ATS platforms: Ideally Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter, and standard recruitment tools
- Understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities of working at a rapidly scaling startup: including how to communicate perks like ESOP to candidates
- Comfort with AI tools: you actively use AI to work smarter, whether that's sourcing, screening, drafting comms, or streamlining processes. You're curious about what's next and always looking for ways to level up with technology
- A proactive, creative approach to problem solving and process improvement
- Experience recruiting in both the US and UK markets
- Existing network in the US tech, startup, or marketing communities
- Familiarity with HiBob, or similar HRIS platforms
Why you'll love it here
- ESOP for everyone: Every Trackstar has a share in our success, from day one
- Progressive health and wellness benefits: Including an annual $300 wellness bonus, access to a premium EAP platform, and 6 weeks of PTO
- Generous parental benefits: 12 weeks of paid Parental Leave in additional to legal entitlement, additional sick leave for IVF, gradual return to work
- L&D budget: Your growth matters to us
- Flexible working: We have beautiful offices in New York, London, Sydney and Auckland. We are office first but offer full flexibility day to day
- High care, high performance culture: Big ambitions, real support. We push each other to be brilliant and look after each other while we do it
- Be the first: You'll be building Tracksuit's People presence in the Northern Hemisphere from the ground up. That's a rare opportunity
