Job Description

We are seeking a Backend Engineer with 3–6 years of experience developing backend software. The ideal candidate has designed, implemented, and owned production-facing services and is comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment with a track record of building reliable, scalable systems. We are especially interested in high-potential engineers earlier in their careers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and own production-facing backend services that power our platform.
• Take ownership of backend systems and drive reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to translate customer requirements into durable platform designs.
• Build and integrate with external APIs, relational DB backends, ETL/data pipelines, or distributed systems.
• Contribute to cloud infrastructure using AWS, Terraform, and EKS.
• Make thoughtful technical tradeoffs and build systems that anticipate evolving needs as the company scales.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in backend software development.
• Experience designing, implementing, and owning production-facing services.
• Proven track record of building reliable, scalable systems.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with Backend Development, Cloud Infrastructure, Data Pipelines, Scalability, and APIs.
• Bonus points for experience with data pipelines, distributed systems, or cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Proficiency in English.
