Work Scope
Hands-on Systems Engineering test execution and verification support for avionics surveillance programs in a regulated aerospace environment.
Position Summary
Acron Aviation is seeking recent Systems or Aerospace Engineering graduates to participate in a structured Systems Test Execution Sprint supporting the introduction and certification of a new safety surveillance function. This role provides hands-on experience executing production-level systems tests in a regulated aerospace environment under the guidance of experienced Acron Aviation Systems Engineers.
Participants will contribute directly to test execution, documentation, and process improvement efforts while gaining exposure to real-world aerospace systems development, integration, and verification practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop new system designs, write system specifications, and support modeling development
- Develop system-level test procedures and test scripts, execute tests, analyze results, and support modeling test efforts as needed
- Assist with flight testing activities and analyze results
- Interface with customers, suppliers, and internal functional groups including Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Project Leadership, Program Management, and Customer Support
- Support the development and maintenance of engineering processes
- Assist in the design, test, and maintenance of avionics products
- Execute systems verification activities and accurately document results
- Support systems integration, issue investigation, and verification activities within a regulated aerospace environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field completed within the last 1–2 years, or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree
- Fundamental understanding of systems development and testing concepts
- Ability to follow detailed technical procedures and document results accurately
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment
- U.S. Person status required (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or protected individual under ITAR regulations)
- Systems or Aerospace Engineering student or recent graduate (junior/senior level) with interest in systems testing, automation, verification, or aerospace systems
- Comfortable working with technical documents, aerospace electrical components, and test equipment
- Motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn within a team environment
- Self-motivated with strong communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal oversight and direction
