Overview

Open to NYC, Purchase, Chicago, Plano

Do you have a passion for media and how it influences behavior? Does being part of the consumer data revolution excite you? If you aspire to be a thought leader at the forefront of connecting with consumers, you could be the perfect candidate for the PepsiCo Commerce Media Team—a dynamic group that brings together data science, media insights, and activation.

In this role, you will help shape the future of Commerce Media Strategy, with a strong focus on performance marketing and paid search across retailer platforms. You will support the development of a best-in-class search practice, leveraging keyword strategy, bidding optimization, and platform signals to drive high-intent conversions and maximize visibility.

Partnering with Omni Marketing, you will execute and optimize paid search and commerce media campaigns across priority retailers, ensuring investments are efficient and aligned to business goals. You will connect search performance insights to broader media and commerce strategies, helping identify opportunities to improve omni-channel performance through retailer first-party data and intent signals.

You will regularly engage with senior leadership, translating performance metrics—such as ROAS, CPC, and conversion rates—into clear, actionable insights. Success in this role requires strong collaboration, proactive communication, and a solutions-oriented mindset as you help evolve PepsiCo’s search and commerce media capabilities in a rapidly changing landscape

Responsibilities

  • Platform execution & optimization: Serve as the day-to-day owner of paid search and media activation, providing hands-on-keys/in-platform support as well as media partners to manage campaign setup, pacing, bid strategy, and keyword/audience optimization across PepsiCo's portfolio of brands on regional grocery, Costco, Value, and convenience customers.
  • Performance management & reporting: Build and maintain regular performance reporting cadences, surfacing actionable insights, identifying optimization opportunities, and translating in-platform metrics into business impact for brand teams and senior leadership — including budget pacing, forecasting, and reallocation decisions.
  • Cross-functional partnership: Act as a connective layer across PepsiCo Omni Marketing, external media partners and the customer partnership teams — ensuring alignment on objectives, executional standards, and budget deployment.
  • Strategy development: Contribute to Commerce Media paid search strategy, partnering with senior team members to translate business priorities into media plans.
  • Test-and-learn & measurement: Support test-and-learn initiatives that evaluate emerging media opportunities, new ad formats, audience strategies, and measurement methodologies — translating findings into scalable best practices.
  • Stakeholder communication: Develop clear, concise narratives and presentation materials for use with senior leadership, brand partners, and media agencies/partners, customer partnership teams, etc., including business reviews, JBP inputs, and ad-hoc executive readouts.
  • Innovation & thought leadership: Stay ahead of media, commerce, and marketing trends — bringing forward POVs on how PepsiCo can lead within customer teams and across the broader media landscape.
