Summary
Our client is seeking a Business Performance Analyst to support Business Operations within a North America commercial organization. This role focuses on automating recurring reporting deliverables, supporting billing operations, and improving overall process efficiency and scalability.
This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and experience working with reporting tools and operational workflows. The contractor will help ensure consistent, accurate reporting outputs while identifying opportunities to reduce manual effort.
The Business Performance Analyst will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver reporting insights, streamline billing processes, and support the transition of manual workflows into more scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting Automation & Maintenance
- Automate and streamline monthly and recurring reports for business stakeholders
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting workflows using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
- Ensure consistent and timely refresh of reporting outputs with minimal manual intervention
- Validate data accuracy across multiple data sources and resolve discrepancies
Stakeholder Reporting & Insights
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather and refine reporting requirements
- Deliver clear reporting outputs and summaries to support business decision-making
- Enhance reporting formats to improve usability and readability
Billing Operations Support
- Support monthly billing processes including invoice intake, validation, and submission
- Track billing timelines and ensure adherence to internal deadlines
- Identify inefficiencies within billing workflows and suggest improvements
- Assist with documentation and standardization of billing processes
Process Optimization
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort across reporting and billing activities
- Support implementation of automation solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to transition manual processes into scalable workflows
Required Education & Experience
- 2–3+ years of experience in business operations, analytics, or finance support roles
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas and data manipulation
- Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
- Experience working with recurring reporting deliverables and data validation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage ongoing operational tasks
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience supporting billing or finance-related operational processes
- Exposure to process improvement or workflow automation initiatives
- Experience working with cross-functional business stakeholders
