Assembler - Level 3 - 1st shift
Job Description
As an Assembler Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in assembling complex mechanical and electronic components to meet quality and production standards. You will apply your expertise to ensure precision and efficiency in the assembly process, contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.
You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on an on-site work schedule. (1st Shift 7am - 3pm M-Fri)
In this role, you will impact the quality and reliability of Honeywell products by ensuring assemblies are completed accurately and efficiently, supporting the delivery of high-quality solutions to our customers.

Mechanical Systems & Components (MSC) provides a wide range of mechanical products and value-adding services to Honeywell Aerospace customers, including aircraft manufacturers and operators, and agencies of the U.S. government. The business develops and manufactures air and thermal systems, mechanical components, and wheels and braking systems. It also manages and operates facilities for the Federal government. - Assemble mechanical and electronic components according to detailed work instructions and blueprints.
- Inspect and verify parts and assemblies for quality and compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve assembly issues and improve processes.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment adhering to company policies and safety standards.
- Document assembly activities and report any deviations or defects promptly.

US Person Requirement
- Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
- Extensive experience in mechanical and electronic assembly in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of interpreting blueprints, assembly instructions, and quality standards.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Experience with troubleshooting assembly issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and compliance in an industrial setting.
- Technical certification in assembly or manufacturing is a plus.
- Experience in aerospace or industrial manufacturing sectors.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to changing production demands.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Basic knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
