About the team:

The Data Analyst II team at Walmart Data Ventures ensures data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across the organization. Collaborating with Data Stewards, Product Managers, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists, the team manages and governs data to support business objectives. Utilizing expertise in data governance, analytics, and visualization, members deliver actionable insights that drive informed decisions. The team emphasizes continuous improvement and employs advanced tools and methodologies to maintain high data quality standards, fostering a collaborative environment dedicated to supporting business needs effectively and efficiently.

What you'll do:

• Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and business insights supporting cross-functional decision-making.
• Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI and Python to communicate findings effectively.
• Collaborate with business partners to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable analytics solutions.
• Support data quality management by profiling, cleansing, and validating data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Assist in identifying appropriate data sources and extracting relevant information using SQL and ETL processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by applying analytical methodologies aligned with business objectives.

• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction, analysis, and modeling.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and advanced visualization techniques.
• Knowledge of data quality management, including profiling, cleansing, and governance practices.
• Understanding of business domains and metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to identify appropriate data sources and apply statistical techniques under guidance.
• Familiarity with ETL processes, metadata management, and enterprise data architecture concepts.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
