The Role
As the Global Social Media Associate, you’ll be a key player in shaping UGG’s social presence. You’ll manage community engagement across global channels, post content, and maximize opportunities to turn followers into advocates. You’ll identify trends for the social and global brand teams, keeping UGG at the forefront of culture and conversation. Supporting the Social Media Manager, you’ll contribute to content development, reporting, sample management, and asset organization.

Your Impact
- Responsible for posting on UGG owned social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, and emerging platforms), including mornings, nights, and weekends as needed
- Accurately add tags, links, and creative elements to posts, ensuring optimal timing and performance
- Partner with the Social Media Manager for excellence in execution
- Manage community engagement across UGG accounts, fostering brand love and positive sentiment
- Act as the connection point between the brand and the social community, interacting with talent, influencers, editorial outlets, consumers, and fans
- Participate in UGG-related conversations, answer customer inquiries, and identify trends in fan feedback and competitive strategy
- Contribute to social media reports, pulling data and adding insights
- Escalate opportunities for larger brand action
- Support social media content capture, editing, briefing, and management
- Organize and deliver content, contribute ideas to the content calendar
- Manage sample ordering and distribution, planning for usage and sending out pieces to further brand sentiment and mentions
- Handle department invoices and new vendor setups, liaising with talent and agents for timely processing
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, sharing insights with the creative team and management, and attending relevant conferences
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or relevant internship experience
- 1-3 years of experience or internship experience within social media at a brand, editorial outlet, or agency
- Knowledge of the social media landscape and intricacies of each platform
- Eager to learn and grow within the social media industry, always seeking ways to maximize brand-community connection
- Excellent time management, organizational, planning, and project management skills
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Ability to develop positive and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Proven relationship skills with influencers and cross-functional teams
- Problem-solver, able to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to travel and work nights and weekends as necessary
