Summary

The Ash Group is hiring a Subcontract Administrator for our client, an innovative aerospace company developing reliable and cost-effective technologies for commercial spaceflight. This is a 6-month contract working in Kent, WA, Huntsville, AL or Merritt Island, FL (Onsite) and offering a pay rate of $83 per hour based on skillset.

Role Details

• Compensation: Up to $83/hr W2
• Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and direct primary care benefits. After six months of employment, enjoy a 4% matched 401(k) plan with immediate 100% vesting.
• Duration: 6-month contract
• Location: Kent, WA, Huntsville, AL or Merritt Island, FL (Onsite)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Administer the full lifecycle of complex indirect subcontracts, from solicitation and award through closeout
• Manage subcontracts for large components and assemblies, including cryogenic tanks, large structures, and major fabricated hardware
• Lead procurement and subcontract administration for high-value, large-scale components and structures
• Negotiate, establish, and administer long-term agreements (LTAs) and Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
• Draft, review, and negotiate subcontract terms and conditions to protect company interests and manage risk
• Develop and administer milestone-based statements of work (SOWs) for complex efforts
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key subcontractors and suppliers
• Ensure all subcontract activities comply with company policies, contractual requirements, and applicable regulations

What We’re Looking For

• Must have 3-5 years Max of current Subcontract Administrator exp
• Strong experience with:
• MSAs, long-term agreements, T&M contracts
• Negotiations, pricing structures, milestone payments
• Aerospace experience (e.g., cryogenic tanks, pressure vessels, large assemblies) is a strong plus
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience is a must
• Demonstrated experience with terms and conditions negotiation and management
• Familiarity with milestone-based statements of work and performance-based payment structures
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
