Talent Acquisition Specialist, Contractor

What you will do

Klarna is growing, and the people we hire will shape that growth. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will drive our hiring efforts across the US and Europe by owning end-to-end recruitment processes and bringing in exceptional talent. You will partner closely with senior stakeholders, advising them and ensuring alignment on hiring needs while delivering a seamless candidate experience. This position combines strategic stakeholder engagement with hands-on execution: proactively sourcing and attracting strong candidates, conducting thorough initial interviews and assessments, and coordinating onboarding. The position also extends beyond recruitment itself: you will take ownership of a range of broader operational and process tasks that keep the team and our ways of working running smoothly, alongside helping to raise the bar on the talent we bring in.

Who you are

• Experience in Talent Acquisition within a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Experience hiring into the US market
• Able to partner with and advise senior stakeholders, building strong working relationships across teams
• Proactive in sourcing and engaging strong talent, including candidates who aren't actively looking
• Skilled at conducting candidate interviews and rigorously assessing talent, alongside managing recruitment coordination
• Pragmatic and hands-on, ready to take ownership of broader operational and process work beyond core Talent Acquisition
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a demanding workload across multiple positions
• Detail-oriented, with experience handling onboarding administration and process execution
• Strong communication skills with fluency in English
• Adapts quickly and prioritizes effectively under pressure

Awesome to have

• Experience hiring business development, commercial and GTM positions
• Experience in, or exposure to, executive search
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools
• Experience working in fintech, technology, or other high-growth environments
