Environmental Social Governance (ESG) Reporting & Compliance - Associate Manager
Overview
The Environmental Social Governance (ESG) Program Management Office (PMO) Associate Manager will lead key areas of regulatory reporting within the ESG Reporting Council and report to the Director of ESG PMO. This role partners with the Sustainability, Legal, and Public Policy and Government Affairs (PPGA) ESG teams to track and communicate progress against a large, integrated project plan that supports ESG regulatory reporting requirements.
Because these project teams span multiple functions, the successful candidate must be able to influence and motivate team members without direct authority. The role ensures all work is integrated into a single plan, highlights and manages risks and dependencies, and drives timely delivery of team objectives to support 2027 reporting readiness. It also requires close coordination across functions such as Control, Legal, and Strategy & Transformation (S&T) Data Control/Business Integration, EHS, and Finance, while ensuring program updates accurately reflect team status, delays, delivery impacts, and decisions needed for success.
The role also monitors and reviews project change requests and oversees deliverable and risk management. Because each change has specific approval requirements, this person ensures every request is clearly defined, includes the information needed for review, and follows the correct approval process.
This position works closely with global and sector sustainability teams that support the PepsiCo Positive (pep+) agenda to align regulatory readiness with broader pep+ initiatives. This alignment is important because regulatory frameworks and existing pep+ reporting overlap significantly in areas such as data, digitization, and governance. pep+ is PepsiCo’s end-to-end transformation strategy, placing sustainability at the center of growth and value creation while promoting positive outcomes for people and the planet.
The project plans are currently managed via SmartSheet so experience with this tool is a plus. PowerPoint and Excel are also key communication tools in this position, and a high level of proficiency with both is required.
Responsibilities
Our Company will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other applicable laws, including but not limited to, San Francisco Police Code Sections 4901-4919, commonly referred to as the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance; and Chapter XVII, Article 9 of the Los Angeles Municipal Code, commonly referred to as the Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance.
All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.
PepsiCo is an Equal Opportunity Employer: Female / Minority / Disability / Protected Veteran / Sexual Orientation / Gender Identity / Age
