Junior Software Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Design, develop, and debug mission-critical software.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle within an Agile framework.
• Utilize tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Git for work management and collaboration.
• Support the creation and updating of design, development, and testing documentation.
• Identify and proactively resolve potential technical roadblocks.
• Plan and estimate development tasks, working to improve performance metrics.
  
  

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree with 0-2 years of experience, or a Master's degree.
• US Citizenship with an active Secret clearance or higher.
• Hands-on experience with Java/C++ and object-oriented programming.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript and JS frameworks such as React.
• Strong understanding of software development process fundamentals.
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn new programming languages, tools, and techniques.
