Overview




The Assistant Media Planner’s primary focus will be to help shape and execute media strategies for our clients which includes analyzing digital marketing metrics, collaborating with clients to refine marketing objectives and distributing advertising content to the most impactful media platforms.




Responsibilities





  • Research & Insights: Conduct audience & media research using syndicated tools (e.g., YouGov, Media Radar, or similar platforms) to uncover consumer behaviors and media consumption habits.


  • Media Planning & Buying: Assist with planning and executing media buys across various offline channels, including linear TV, Radio, OOH, Print, etc


  • RFP: Experience issuing and evaluating partner RFPs to bring forward the best opportunities to meet campaign goals.


  • Campaign Execution: Able to set up and traffic media buys with offline media partner


  • Billing: Lead the monthly billing reconciliation process with oversight from team Supervisor and/or Associate Media Director


  • Stay Informed: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices to ensure our campaigns remain cutting-edge.





Core Competencies





  • Bachelor’s degree in media, marketing, or related field preferred


  • 1-2 years of experience in media planning and buying


  • Experience with 3rd party syndicated research resources (i.e. ComScore, Nielsen, eMarketer) is a plus but not required


  • Ability to manage and maintain budgets, billing and media authorizations\


  • Experience will RFPing, buying and executing buys with offline media


  • Excellent communication


  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills


  • Demonstrates initiative (proactive and responsive)


  • Identifies, analyzes and solves problems


  • Ability to manage and maintain budgets, billing and media authorizations
