Our client, a rapidly growing company in the food industry, is seeking a Food Scientist to join their team. As a Food Scientist, you will be part of the Research and Development department supporting innovative product development. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
What's the Job?
- Lead product development and reformulation projects from concept through commercialization.
- Apply sensory science and food technology to support formulation and innovation across core categories.
- Monitor and report the status of all active R&D projects, ensuring timely updates and clear communication.
- Troubleshoot formulation and processing challenges by applying food science principles.
- Mentor and train R&D Technicians, overseeing task assignments and skill development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in product development or a Master’s degree with less experience.
- Hands-on experience with bakery, dressings, marinades, sauces, or beverages.
- Strong understanding of formulation, scale-up, and commercialization.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
