Your seat at the table: Manufacturing Engineer I

Manufacturing Engineering Support / Continuous Improvement / Lean Manufacturing
- Provide day-to-day support to production teams to resolve manufacturing issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Identify, lead, and implement continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance product quality.
- Analyze production data to drive process optimization and yield improvement.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
- Develop new tooling, fixtures, gauges, and equipment to support production needs and improve ergonomics, safety, and repeatability.
- Update and improve existing tooling based on performance feedback or process changes.
- Create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using SolidWorks.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors on tooling fabrication and validation.
- Lead and support capital and process improvement projects from concept through implementation.
- Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and documentation.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution and successful project completion.
- Manage vendor relationships and procurement processes for equipment purchases.
- Create and maintain accurate ERP data including routings, BOMs, work instructions, and manufacturing attributes.
- Support change management processes to ensure updates are well-documented and communicated.
- Monitor data integrity and collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies.
- Participate in NPD projects by providing manufacturability input during design phases.
- Develop manufacturing processes, tooling, and documentation required for new product launches.
- Support pilot builds, validations, and production ramp-up activities.
- Ensure smooth transition of new products into full-scale production.

We need this seat to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated project management experience and ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks and 3D solid modeling.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools and methodologies preferred.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to work on the production floor as needed.
